Job Description – OTC Associate
As an OTC Associate at Elsevier, you will be responsible for managing order-to-cash operations, processing customer orders, handling reporting tasks, and ensuring excellent customer experience. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain daily/weekly/monthly operational and performance reports.
- Take action on escalations—identify issues, follow up with teams, and resolve efficiently.
- Share summarized updates with Team Leads and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer orders and queries are processed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Respond professionally to customer queries via phone and email using SOP guidelines.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of processes and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)for escalations with corrective actions.
- Support Account Managers during the sales process.
- Complete assigned UATs (User Acceptance Tests) and quality audits as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate degree; 1–2 years of experience in operations, order management, or customer service preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues using existing solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting tools).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
