Deloitte’s Supply Chain & Network Operations (SCNO) service line helps clients design strategy-to-execution supply chains and smart factories that deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, throughput, reliability, and sustainability. Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct plant/value-stream diagnostics, map manufacturing processes, and identify bottlenecks using key performance metrics such as OEE, FPY, and cost per unit.
- Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational excellence.
- Assist in the development of Industry 4.0 strategies including digital maturity assessments, vendor evaluations, and pilot implementation of MES, IIoT, and analytics solutions.
- Build business cases and performance dashboards using Excel or Power BI for benefit tracking and financial validation.
- Facilitate client workshops, project reviews, and stakeholder management activities.
- Prepare standard operating procedures, playbooks, and client deliverables for implementation and scaling.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or similar); MBA/PGDM preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years in consulting or manufacturing operations (freshers with strong analytical skills can apply).
- Technical Tools: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, basic SQL, Power BI, Tableau.
- Knowledge Areas: Supply chain optimization, operational analytics, Industry 4.0 systems, and Lean/TPM methodologies.
- Additional Certifications: CPIM/CSCP (ASCM), CMRP (SMRP) preferred.
- Sectors: Auto, Pharma, Metals, FMCG – preferred for candidates with domain exposure.
