Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with Relationship Management and Compliance teams to prepare, develop, and approve Know Your Client (KYC) records and related documentation.
- Create and maintain KYC records using both internal systems and external regulatory sources.
- Update system information throughout the KYC process and communicate progress reports to supervisors.
- Validate customer data within KYC and Customer Identification Program (CIP) records for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure KYC records meet local and global regulatory standards as per BSU (Business Support Unit) policies.
- Maintain BSU tools and assist in continuous process improvement.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, following Citi’s compliance and ethical standards.
- Escalate and manage issues with transparency and adherence to company policy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in banking, finance, or operations preferred (freshers can also apply).
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), or compliance processes (preferred).
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Must be residing in Pune and able to work remotely.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
