Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate month-end collateral interest processes between counterparties
- Instruct collateral and treasury transfer payments through SWIFT
- Prepare expense payments in Æxeo Treasury
- Agree and process over-the-counter (OTC) payments on behalf of clients
- Review vendor platforms such as Omgeo CTM, Traiana, Markit Trade Manager, prime broker matching portals, and trade recaps on Trade Date
- Responsible for listed securities settlements via Prime Broker platforms, ensuring trades are pre-matched and successfully settled between counterparties and PBs
- Responsible for review activities, exception processing, break escalation and resolution, followed by affirming and confirming trades between clients and executing counterparties within operations analyst jobs in Mumbai
- Assist in the training and development of junior team members
- Work on special projects as required
- Engage with internal stakeholders and clients professionally to resolve outstanding issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative disciplines relevant to fund operations analyst roles
- Knowledge of various fund structures
- Strong Customer Service and analytical and problem solving skills
- Dedicated team player with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with the capability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and retrieve information from multiple platforms
- Ability to work efficiently within a collaborative team environment
- Adaptive and flexible professional approach, capable of performing in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to acquire new technical skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize workloads, and operate in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable communicating with clients and counterparties via email and phone
- Experience or exposure to cash settlements roles is not mandatory but advantageous
- Experience or exposure to ISDA Bilateral agreements and collateral processes is not mandatory but advantageous
- Experience or exposure to financial instruments such as equities, bonds, equity swaps, FX, futures, and OTC products is not mandatory but advantageous, especially for citco operations analyst openings
