Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and recommend data-driven improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Design and develop data pipelines using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Collaborate with data analysts and developers to define data mappings, validation rules, and transformation logic.
- Support the data testing process by reviewing test cases, data flows, and ensuring data quality across environments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that data solutions align with corporate strategy and compliance needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data architecture design.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Scala, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and other serialized data formats.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (bash, ksh) and command-line operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Bonus Skills
- Prior experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
- Exposure to distributed database systems and entity-relationship (ER) modeling.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and modern development environments.
- Understanding of the SAFe Agile methodology and its application in data projects.
