Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning sessions to understand testing expectations.
- Assist in translating business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios, and scripts.
- Evaluate testability of requirements from business documents and use cases.
- Support setup and maintenance of test environments for manual and automated testing.
- Execute test charters, analyze test session results, and maintain detailed reports.
- Utilize automated testing tools and collaborate with developers to ensure quality assurance.
- Record and classify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and escalate per company protocols.
- Generate monthly and quarterly test reports for leadership review.
- Implement automation scripts and enhance software testing frameworks for efficient bug tracking.
- Recommend improvements in testing processes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with engineers to enhance modern testing tools and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE)
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)
- Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in system/software quality testing.
