They are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation. The engineer will support and maintain Cloudflare firewall rules and routing configurations while assisting with routine infrastructure operations across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes environments.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow technical depth in cloud networking, container orchestration, and infrastructure reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cloudflare Administration
- Maintain and update Cloudflare firewall rules, WAF configurations, and rate-limiting policies
- Manage DNS configurations, routing rules, and traffic policies
- Monitor traffic patterns and assist in mitigating security threats (DDoS, bot traffic, etc.)
- Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and edge-related issues
- GCP Infrastructure Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance of GCP resources (compute, networking, IAM, storage)
- Monitor system health, uptime, and performance metrics
- Assist with infrastructure updates, patches, and configuration improvements
- Support cost monitoring and basic optimization efforts
- Kubernetes Operations
- Support Kubernetes cluster maintenance and upgrades
- Monitor pod health, resource utilization, and cluster stability
- Assist in deploying and updating applications
- Troubleshoot container and service networking issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations (as required)
- Document infrastructure configurations and operational procedures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployments and production reliability
- Contribute to automation efforts using scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts (pods, services, deployments)
- Experience with Linux command line
- Basic scripting ability (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Exposure to Cloudflare or similar CDN/WAF platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of IAM and cloud security best practices
- Git version control experience
