Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer (Devops), you’ll help to build Akamai’s Zero Trust platform into a worldwide leader. You’ll be crucial to the development of best-in-class security features. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Taking ownership for technical and product innovation, implementing proof of concepts, analyzing systems, and proposing solutions
- Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review, design review
- Being flexible to accommodate the releases and ensuring timely actions to be taken with minimum delays.
- Working closely with development team to enhance new releases
- Coordinating and participating in customer installs, demos to team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Have experience in software development and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Be familiar with CI/CD, Docker & Version control systems such as Git
- Have good knowledge of API and automation using python.
- Have knowledge about Kubernetes/Argo CD
- Have knowledge of one or more of the following clouds – Azure, AWS and GCP
- Be comfortable with working in a Linux/Unix environment
