The Software Engineer role involves customising, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions for Akamai’s Services and Support divisions. This position is part of the Enterprise Applications engineering team, focusing on delivering impactful applications and solutions. Akamai’s success stems from marketing, sales, service, and tailored customer lifecycle management. Robust sales applications support this. Engineering teams in Cambridge and Bangalore develop, customise, and enhance these tools with vendors and business teams.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Developers, Leads, Architects, Managers, and Business Teams to ensure timely, high-quality solution delivery.
- Being adaptive and productive, learning to enhance, maintain, or build new solutions on Force.com platform.
- Understanding and maintaining existing data models alongside mapping them to various business processes or solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Possess experience in Salesforce development, design, architecture, implementing, customizing, and creating platform solutions.
- Have 1-2 years of experiences in developing applications using Salesforce lightning platform
- Demonstrate proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming Technology.
- Utilize integration expertise with MuleSoft or demonstrate Python proficiency.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
