Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows operating systems for cloud-based environments.
- Use AWS CloudWatch and other cloud monitoring tools for infrastructure health tracking.
- Work with multiple AWS services including EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Auto Scaling, CloudFront, and Lambda.
- Ensure cloud cost optimization and perform regular security audits and reporting.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues with a problem-solving mindset.
- Participate in 24×7 rotational support schedules and respond to priority incidents.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain site reliability and enhance performance.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure uptime and business continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or ECE.
- 0–6 months of experience (internship experience acceptable).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms – AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell or Python preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and deliver under pressure.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure support and monitoring techniques.
- Must be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
