Roles and Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Gartner, you’ll work closely with business and analytics teams to transform raw data into actionable insights. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable dashboards, maintaining high data quality, and driving data-backed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting and dashboard requirements.
- Design and maintain backend data systems to support analytical processes.
- Build, automate, and optimize data visualization dashboards for business and marketing teams.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all analytics reports.
- Partner with technical teams to streamline data operations and automation workflows.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and present insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of major initiatives and campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related domains.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Experience working with cloud-based databases or traditional RDBMS.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation is an added advantage.
