As a QA Engineer in Hyderabad, you will contribute to delivering a fast, reliable, and secure software experience for millions of users worldwide.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and create effective manual testing plans.
- Collaborate with developers to identify areas of regression and ensure product quality.
- Perform usability, functional, regression, localization, and smoke/sanity testing.
- Identify, document, and report software defects to the development team.
- Execute test cases across web applications, APIs, and databases.
- Debug applications using API calls and dev tools.
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Work with QA team members to improve testing processes and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in application testing, API testing, and database testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA.
- Proficiency in debugging web applications using developer tools.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies: black box, white box, and grey box testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Ability to design test cases around integration and interface points.
- Knowledge of regression, functional, and compatibility testing.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of BDD and TDD testing methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development frameworks.
- Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Experience in setting up end-to-end QA processes for new applications.
