About the Role
Glencore’s Corporate Sustainable Development Department in Chennai is looking for a motivated Supply Chain Due Diligence Analyst. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to responsible sourcing and sustainability compliance jobs in India, working in a dynamic and fast-paced international environment. You will report to the Responsible Sourcing Supply Chain Due Diligence Regional Manager, collaborate with global teams, and support Glencore’s commitment to ethical supply chains and sustainability reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct responsible sourcing supply chain due diligence on counterparties, covering areas like human rights, environmental sustainability, and anti-slavery compliance.
- Collect and analyze supplier documentation including questionnaires and transaction forms.
- Identify and escalate material risks through desktop research and continuous engagement with relationship owners.
- Prepare regular reports on Responsible Sourcing KPIs.
- Collaborate with managers and team members on sustainability and compliance projects.
- Support audits and assessments related to supply chain transparency.
- Provide insights to strengthen the global responsible sourcing framework.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Academic degree (Graduate / Post Graduate or equivalent).
- Prior experience in supply chain due diligence, responsible sourcing, compliance, or KYC is a plus.
- Strong interest in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT applications (MS Office and related tools).
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented attitude with high levels of integrity and trust.
