About the Role – BETSOL NOC Technician Careers
The NOC Technician will be responsible for creating and managing alerts, actions, and reports across multiple network management platforms such as Solar Winds, Status Page, Pingdom, and Alert Find. You will collaborate with IT operations, support teams, and engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently and ensure seamless network performance.
This position offers an opportunity to gain expertise in IT infrastructure monitoring, data center operations, and L1 application support.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a NOC Technician at BETSOL, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring systems and adding/removing devices as required.
- Generating reports on the status of monitored systems.
- Responding to requests for new monitoring setups.
- Tracking and resolving incidents/problems using ticketing systems.
- Configuring and maintaining network monitoring, alerts, and escalations.
- Troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and voice infrastructure.
- Supporting patching schedules and release/change management.
- Handling Informatica workflow L1 issues and providing L1 support for applications.
- Coordinating with L2 teams to resolve escalated issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours.
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and structured problem-solving approach.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SFTP, HTTP).
- 6–12 months’ experience with server/network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Pingdom, etc.).
- Basic data center experience with technologies like Windows, Linux, Cisco, Avaya, MS-SQL, Aruba.
- Entry-level knowledge of VoIP technologies and virtualization.
- Ability to work independently with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Requirements
- Prior internship or work experience in IT support or network operations.
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools in enterprise environments.
