About the Internship
This role is part of Irdeto’s multicultural Service Operations team, responsible for:
- Proactive monitoring of application and infrastructure incidents
- Ensuring maximum availability and system performance
- Coordinating with global customers, engineering, DevOps, and security teams
- Conducting root cause analysis of recurring incidents
- Managing communications across global stakeholders
- This opportunity is ideal for candidates interested in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administration and maintenance for web applications hosted in AWS
- Perform application troubleshooting and resolve issues promptly
- Respond to alerts, incident tickets, and requests within defined SLAs
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on critical issues
- Document SOPs and resolution run books
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (automation projects)
- Work with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Nagios, and Grafana Cloud
- Participate in 24×7 rotational shifts
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Windows and Linux administration
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
- Exposure to scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
