Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create test plan & test strategy based on the product requirement.
- Good to have experience in framework development in selenium using java or python.
- ISTQB or other relevant certificates preferred.
- Collaborate with developers, product team and other QA team members to understand the product requirements.
- Identify, document & track bugs using issue tracking tools like Jira.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Run regression tests to verify bug fixes and ensure existing functionality is not affected.
- Have understanding in methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices.
- Detailed working knowledge in functional and API (REST & SOAP) testing.
- Strong knowledge of programming language Java (Preferred) & python (additional).
- Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts will be preferred.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as selenium, postman
- API test automation – Karate framework or RestAssured.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced development environment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience testing Enterprise applications.
- Must have exposure or knowledge of Automation of backends / UI / both
Functional Skills:
- Payments Processing or Finance domain (good to have)
- Great Communication Skill Verbal & Written
- Documentation skills
- Agile/Scrum delivery.
Technical Skills:
- Manual/Functional Testing ( Advanced | Required)
- Test Reports/Test Strategy ( Advanced | Required)
- Karate / Cucumber / RestAssured ( Intermediate| Preferred )
- API Testing ( Intermediate| Required)
- SQL ( Intermediate | Required)
- Scripting languages -Java/Python ( Intermediate| Preferred)
- PerfTesting – NeoLoad/JMeter ( Beginner| Preferred)
- Gitlab/CICD ( Beginner| Preferred)
- AWS/Any cloud experience ( Beginner| Preferred)
