They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Operations Analyst to join their team at Molex. The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for monitoring the health of their infrastructure across various manufacturing sites and will serve as the first point of contact for resolving infrastructure related issues. The role of a Level 1 Command Center Engineer is vital for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of their enterprise applications and maintaining high levels of performance and reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Continuously Monitor health & performance of network, server and application across Molex manufacturing sites using various monitoring tools and systems.
- Serve as the first point of contact for alerts or performance degradation, providing initial troubleshooting and resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams (Level 2 or 3) as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of network incidents, changes, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement improvements and optimizations.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of monitoring and response playbooks.
- Conduct regular health checks and generate reports on infrastructure performance and incidents. Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as Network/Software updates, patching, and system restarts.
- Stay up to date with the latest monitoring technologies, AI and best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication during the escalation process.
- Suggest and implement improvements to processes, tools, and systems to improve response times and efficiency.
- Participate in training and skill development programs to enhance technical knowledge and abilities.
- Monitor for any security-related incidents, such as unauthorized access attempts or malware alerts. Follow security protocols and guidelines for incident escalation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and systems is a plus.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
