Roles and Responsibilities:
The Associate Project Engineer – Cybersecurity will be responsible for developing and implementing ongoing DCS system security strategies and engineering application standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, and NERC CIP.
- Working with firewalls, networking systems, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Defining, designing, and implementing enterprise cybersecurity solutions to safeguard diverse environments against advanced threats.
- Applying cybersecurity principles including defense-in-depth, network segmentation, security monitoring, incident response, access management, OT patch management, and secure remote access.
- Applying cybersecurity expertise to OT environments, corporate application access control, network routing, packet analysis, and cyber threat analysis.
- Developing security strategies and standards for DCS systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Engineering degree with experience in networking or cybersecurity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient documentation skills for creating clear and consistent guidelines and customer materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team settings.
- Willingness to travel as required.
