The Associate IOC Specialist is responsible for assisting with first-tier support and proactive monitoring of infrastructure, systems, and alerts under direct supervision. This role serves as a foundational entry point into the IOC team, focusing on developing technical troubleshooting and incident triage skills while learning standard operating procedures and enterprise technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to monitoring alerts and escalate issues according to documented procedures
- Follow predefined runbooks and standard operating procedures
- Assist in the identification and triage of issues across Linux, Windows, and network environments
- Document steps taken during incident response and troubleshooting
- Perform daily IOC tasks under the guidance of senior team members
- Participate in shift transitions by providing accurate updates and documentation
- Collaborate with peers to learn and grow technical skills in a 24×7 environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience and may require up to 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration
- Basic knowledge of Python Scripts and SQL query handling
- Exposure to networking concepts and basic troubleshooting
- Understanding of incident and change management fundamentals
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk, Grafana)
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and take direction
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
