Roles and Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Enablement
- Supports the acquisition, processing, integration, and cleaning of data from multiple sources.
- Uses a variety of tools to automate data collection and build reports guided by procedures.
- Undertakes initial data investigation and data analysis in order to identify trends in data.
- Supports the development and refinement of data dashboards and reports.
- Supports the presentation of data insights to relevant stakeholders for planning and decision support.
- Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of data analytics.
- Data Transformation
- Input into shaping the Data transformation program
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Functional Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements on data governance tools and techniques
- Familiar with Data Governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA).
- Knowledge of data models, lineage, and enterprise data platforms.
- Data Lineage: Ability to document and visualise data flow from source to consumption
- Business Expertise
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Influence across Business functions on data governance topics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Data Owners, Stewards, and business units to resolve data governance issues.
- Ability to identify and implement enhancements to data government framework
- Understanding of business-critical data domains (e.g. customer, product, finance) and their operational impact.
- Translating technical data issues into business relevant language for non-technical audiences
