Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a scalable test automation framework that improves the productivity of SOLIDWORKS development and testing teams.
- Review and assess the risk of changes throughout the software release lifecycle.
- Develop automation frameworks for testing desktop and web-based applications.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, modern software engineering practices, and advancements in AI-assisted software development and test automation.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency by incorporating AI-powered tools and automation into development and testing workflows while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 0 -2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience with test automation using industry-standard frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
- Experience testing Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Add on – Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) and an understanding of how to use them effectively for software development, debugging, code review, documentation, and test automation.
- Add-on – Basic understanding of modern AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software engineering workflows, is desirable.
- Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS API is desirable.
- Strong software design skills and sound engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexible, collaborative working style with a continuous learning mindset.
