They’re looking for a Data Protection Specialist to provide support on privacy-related requests under GDPR and related laws. As the team expands, you’ll get a chance to engage with project management and additional privacy-related matters, so there’s always something to learn.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with specialists in Legal and Regulatory Compliance teams as well as our Data Protection Officer (DPO) to build processes that deal with complex rights requests
- Handling requests received through the DPO inbox and complex requests referred from Customer Support
- Monitoring the DPO’s inbox and escalating communications from regulators or other inquiries/complaints requiring immediate attention to the DPO or Legal team
- Dealing with personal data incidents caused by support agents
- Providing feedback about personal data incidents to relevant agents
- Ensuring rights requests are answered within required deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree (must be able to provide at least a provisional certificate)
- 18+ months of customer service experience
- Fluency in English (C1+ level)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to explain complex issues in an easy and understandable manner
- Great numeracy, analytical, and IT skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Empathy and love for helping people
- To be driven and self-motivated, with a flexible team-player attitude
- An independent problem-solving approach
Nice to have
- Experience managing data subject rights and/or data protection requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in law or similar
- An IAPP CIPP/E Privacy Certification or equivalent
- Fluency in other languages, such as French, German, Portuguese, or Spanish
