The global fund performance team is responsible for ensuring that Preqin’s coverage of the alternative assets industry is accurate, up to date and comprehensive. As an Analyst, your primary focus will be on the data processing and quality assurance of public and private data. You will report into the Data Management Lead, and work in close collaboration with a global team of data management specialists to research, analyze, and curate public/private data delivered to Preqin’s clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Validating and logging performance data in accordance with Preqin’s reporting guidelines
- Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Review financial disclosures and documents to extract and validate key metrics
- Apply accounting and financial concepts when interpreting fund data
- Support data quality initiatives and process improvements
- Collaborate with global data and product stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, data operations, or analytics
- Strong Excel skills with experience handling large datasets
- Hands-on experience managing high volumes of structured data
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- Strong accounting acumen and understanding of financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Preferred Skills
- Exposure to alternative investments (private equity, private credit, hedge funds)
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, or controls
- Comfortable working in deadline-driven, data-intensive environment
