Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and events from SIEM tools
- Identify potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities
- Assist in incident response and security investigations
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
- Support implementation of security policies, controls, and best practices
- Maintain documentation for incidents, reports, and security procedures
- Stay updated with latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and security trends
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field
- Freshers with strong cyber security knowledge are welcome
- Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers can apply)
- Basic understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
- Knowledge of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls)
- Familiarity with Windows & Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of SIEM, SOC operations, or log analysis
- Understanding of common attacks (Phishing, Malware, DDoS, Brute Force)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, QRadar, ELK, Wireshark
- Basic knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS)
- Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC, or Cyber Security frameworks
- Cyber Security certification (CEH, Security+, or equivalent – optional)
