Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and enhancement of applications using SAP ABAP RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).
- Assist in building modern, cloud-ready applications on SAP BTP using ABAP RESTful programming principles as part of a SAP BTP ABAP developer role.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in development, testing, debugging, and deployment of RAP-based services and applications.
- Support the integration of RAP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other systems to enable seamless SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Contribute to documentation of technical specifications and development processes.
- Stay updated with latest advancements in ABAP RAP and SAP BTP tools and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors: Commerce/ Science / Engineering background from a premier institute preferred
- Willingness to travel for short and long term durations.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- 0–1 years of experience or academic knowledge in ABAP development; exposure to ABAP RAP is preferred.
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud application development.
- Familiarity with OData services, CDS views, and RESTful API principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow in SAP’s latest programming paradigms.
- SAP certification in ABAP or RAP is a plus.
