Roles and Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of Governance, Compliance and Quality Control including:
- Performing quality control reviews, assisting in identifying opportunities to enhance the process, leveraging key documentation, and systems to perform reviews
- Monitoring and tracking resolution of defects and escalating any potential gaps
- Ensuring issues identified are properly dispositioned, appropriately documented, reported, and completed according to standards and timelines
- Supporting the overall implementation and governance of Global Supply Management Process Risk Self-Assessment framework
- Supporting timely follow-up, escalation and sustained resolution of identified control issues, deficiencies, and risk events
- Communicating concerns with all parties engaged, documenting, maintaining, and enhancing procedures
- Ensuring adherence to policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining effective working relationships with business partners
- Performing special projects, compiling data, preparing reports, and assisting with audits/exams
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of work experience.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of systems and processes
- Ability to multi-task, work in a constantly changing and deadline-driven environment. Comfortable challenging the status quo and thinks outside the box.
- A good team player with high standards of integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to set priorities, resolve issues, provide guidance, secure engagements and commitments from teams across multiple locations in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in risk, audit, compliance, controls or quality management (quality assurance or quality control) preferred for a governance risk compliance analyst
- Strong Excel/Access and Power-Point skills
- Requires a flexible schedule to accommodate different time zones
