You are responsible to apply for timely payment and unapplied cash items, understanding and checking all nuances within the given timeframe without any intervention, supporting a cash application management trainee role. Well known for customer strategies to reduce DSO.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Regular and prompt payment application without any issues or challenges.
- 100% accuracy is required, with clear understanding of upstream and downstream processes.
- Gather data from ERP system & follow up data extraction with concerned teams to gather other tools and calculate metrics as part of order to cash operations responsibilities.
- Analyze datasets, assess current business processes, and provide solutions.
- Work to reduce DSO targets and past due invoices.
- Help the team with high-level insights. Generate monthly and weekly reports as part of reporting.
- Handle internal and external escalations, including disputes raised by customers.
- Identify areas for process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in collection.
- B.Com, M.Com
- Good understanding of ERP, preferably SAP.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clear communication and ability to explain data and insights to users of reports.
- Good understanding of O2C (Order to Cash) relevant to finance operations cash application experience.
- Must possess analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle stress well.
- Experience in cash application and dispute management.
