The candidate would be responsible for maintaining and refreshing WBRs and other analytical frameworks set up by senior analysts. They would also be required to build simple reports, take up deep-dive requests, make changes to existing analytical frameworks and provide ad hoc data support to Ops stakeholders while contributing to an Amazon business analyst support role. The person should have a good understanding of a business requirement and the ability to quickly identify the root cause of a reporting, BI, or data issue, and draft solutions for resolution. The ideal candidate would have high attention to detail, a bias for action, and a strong interest in analytics, BI, and automation within business analytics support jobs in Amazon.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and related deliverables to drive key business decisions, ensuring data accuracy by validating data for new and existing resources while supporting data analytics support roles.
- Work closely with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand and automate or enhance existing processes.
- Should be open to learning and developing skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques.
- Should understand how data and analytical frameworks, along with individual contributions, translate to real-world business outcomes.
- Should be able to come up with innovative ideas for new initiatives or to improve existing work as part of SQL reporting analyst responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level.
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI packages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, python, etc.).
