Roles and Responsibilities

As a Trainee Associate at Deloitte, you will support the Finance Operations – AR function by resolving internal and external queries related to process transactions within defined timelines.

Work You’ll Do

• Perform Accounts Receivable tasks including cash application, adjustments, dispute management, and customer coordination.
• Execute process steps through ERP and digital tools efficiently.
• Meet productivity targets and maintain accuracy.
• Update and manage master data and highlight concerns as needed.
• Act as the first point of contact for root cause analysis.
• Resolve internal and external queries within scheduled timelines.
• Highlight frequently delayed process steps for corrective actions.
• Support new associates in understanding process requirements.
• Document process exceptions accurately.
• Attend relevant training such as Lean Six Sigma, SIPOC, and Deloitte tools.
• Participate in operational excellence initiatives, supporting accounts receivable process automation and transformation tasks.
• Provide accurate information for governance forums and issue escalations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA or any similar 3-year graduate degree.
• 0–6 months experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) function.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel.
• Oracle / SAP certification (optional but added advantage).
• Good understanding of AR processes and financial workflows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work in any shift, including night shifts.
• Awareness of enterprise finance operational workflows and standard reporting practices.
