Roles and Responsibilities
- Process adjudication claims and resolve them for payments and denials.
- Handle authorization, COB, duplicate claims, pricing, and corrected claims workflows.
- Understand healthcare insurance policy concepts such as in-network/out-of-network providers, deductibles, co-pay, coinsurance, out-of-pocket limits, exclusions, and state variations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of transactions per client SLA requirements.
- Organize and complete tasks based on assigned priorities.
- Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry, including products, services, and team processes.
- Resolve complex claim-related situations using pre-established guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in claims adjudication and adjustment processes.
- Experience working with Facets (preferred).
- Experience with professional (HCFA) or institutional (UB) claims (optional).
- Undergraduates and postgraduates can apply.
- Strong communication skills with excellent reading comprehension and writing ability.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills.
