Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the administrative intake of members.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to process service requests from members and providers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notifications, and census activities.
- Assist clinical teams by preparing documents and triaging cases for Clinical Coverage Review.
- Address inquiries and provide resolutions to members and providers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, employment terms, and operational guidelines, including potential changes in shifts, work locations, or responsibilities based on business needs.
- Support documentation and compliance needs related to health information management systems and HIPAA-compliant data handling processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Any undergraduate or postgraduate can apply (except Medical Science and Life Science graduates).
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and confidentiality guidelines for protected health information.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to identify documentation and medical record formats and make decisions within job responsibilities.
- Experience collaborating in team environments with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Willingness to work occasional off-hour schedules if required.
- Strong data analysis skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation to complete tasks on time.
- Strong organizational and basic analytical skills.
- Preferred: Experience in the healthcare domain, especially in areas involving patient data validation workflows.
