About the Role
As part of the Global Business Services (GBS) team, the Analyst will support the Investment Banking (IBK) and Global Capital Markets (GCM) divisions. This techno-functional role combines financial acumen with technical proficiency to generate reports, manage large datasets, and deliver key business insights. You’ll work with advanced tools like Tableau, Alteryx, MS Access, and VBA, supporting global teams across APAC, EMEA, and AMRS regions. Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the key reporting contact for senior bankers and publish management reports.
- Manage and deliver all BAU (Business as Usual) reporting tasks efficiently.
- Analyze, design, and implement new reporting methodologies for ad-hoc business requests.
- Develop processes to integrate data from multiple databases and design business intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Maintain a high level of data accuracy and integrity in all reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) for shared initiatives.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background
- MBA/MS in Finance or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Professional certifications like CFA or FRM are advantageous.
- Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, BI, or investment banking support.
- Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop/Server for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Access, and SQL for analytics and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx or similar ETL/data transformation tools.
- Strong command over financial modeling and data interpretation.
- Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones (APAC, EMEA, AMRS).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Work Timings
- Standard Shifts: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM / 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Weekend: Typically off; however, flexibility is required to support urgent business needs.
