About the Role
As a Loan Servicing Specialist (Operations Analyst) in JPMorgan Chase’s Loans group, you’ll play a key role in supporting credit operations and loan servicing functions. The role involves managing processes like deal closing, rollovers, repayments, rate-fixings, and trade settlements, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and SLAs. This position also provides exposure to Nostro and Past Due Reconciliation, offering the opportunity to develop analytical, financial, and process optimization skills in a dynamic banking environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and process-related guidelines.
- Manage loan lifecycle processes, including Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, and Repayments.
- Support the secondary trading desk by handling trade bookings and settlements.
- Coordinate with internal departments, borrowers, and external agents for documentation and follow-ups.
- Execute same-day funding and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Identify and escalate process-related issues or potential risks promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure high accuracy in data management.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 6+ months of experience in financial services, banking operations, or credit analysis preferred.
- Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and analyzing loan data.
- Strong analytical, research, and comprehension abilities.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
